The stand mixer went over…okay. I thought MMD would be really excited, but she was more stunned than anything else. She keeps saying, “I can’t believe I own one of these now” & worrying she won’t use it enough to justify the expense & counter/cupboard space.
I think she’ll end up really liking it & using it more than she realizes once she plays around with it, but we’ll see. It was a little anticlimactic for me, but maybe it’s one of those gifts that’s going to take time to grow on her. :candycane
