Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday, everyone! How has this week been treating you? I hope you’ve got lots to share in the happiness & gratitude departments. :potofgold:

As for moi, this week I AM HAPPY to have discovered just how much I enjoy Red Baron frozen pizzas. Probably not the healthiest of discoveries, but I just get hungry for a frozen pizza once in a while, y’know? And I don’t know about you, but a good frozen pizza can be hard to find. The trick now will be keeping myself from eating one a day until I grow truly sick & tired of them. :yum:

I AM HAPPY that I’ve gotten through all of the RITA books I was sent & already turned in my scores, so I can return to reading whatever I want—& you can once again know what I’m
reading. :tipohat:

FYI, I started Slightly Shady by Amanda Quick & it’s delightful. :kisses:

I AM HAPPY, too, that the receptionist at my chiropractor’s office loves historical romance, so I’ve been taking bunches of books from my “yard sale” box to her, as well as any of the historicals I’m currently reading & don’t add to my Keeper boxes. She’s so happy every time I see her, & she can’t wait to tell me which she’s reading & how much she’s enjoying it. :clover:  On top of that, her mother & sister both love historical romance, too, so the books I was barely able to part with to begin with are definitely being put to good use. :flag:

Best of all, I AM HAPPY that I was able to borrow a baby carrier to try with Nicholas. My sweet little 17-year-old just loves to be held, & since I refuse him nothing at his age, it’s something I do almost 24/7. But it sure does make life difficult at times. I’ve photo 100_1736 1_zpsbdab0kpa.jpglong thought it would be SO convenient to be able to carry him against my chest while I moved around the house, but still have my arms free—& I was right! This thing is fabulous, & Nicholas doesn’t mind it a bit. Once I get him settled, he actually seems to like it…at least if his immediate snoozing & snoring are anything to go by. :dancin:

I must get one of these that I can keep. In fact, I’m thinking it might be a good idea to have two: one like this that I can use to carry him upright, & the other, sling type that I can use to slip him into when I’ve already been holding him like a baby.

Yup, all of that pretty much puts a big, wide smile on my face. :music:

So how about you—what do you have to report this week that’s put a smile on your face or reminded you how lucky you are? :bagpipes:

Take a minute to share, because we definitely want to know! :cuckoo:

That carrier is a wonderful idea. Glad it worked out for you.

I’d been thinking about something like that for a while, but was kind of caught up in the idea of the wrap kind & being able to use a blanket from around the house to do it myself. No, definitely no—that never seemed to work. But the real baby carrier…bliss! For Nicholas & me both! :kisses:

I’ve been reading Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming By Stephen Laberge and I’ve been doing some of the excersices mentioned in the book (like checking out few times a day if I’m asleep or awake). And I did it! I finally did it! For a moment, I actually had a lucid dream! :potofgold: I can’t wait to have another one! :cuckoo:

I am blessed with a generous cousin who just got a new bed for me and Suzu. :potofgold: I also feel blessed that legislators seem to be listening and supporting my position. Blessings all around for the most part. Yay!!
