Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday, everyone!  Can you believe another week has passed us by already?  Or that September is half over? :catwolf:

Well, I think you can guess at least a couple of things I AM HAPPY about this week…

I AM HAPPY with our fancy new emoticons! :offtoschool:  The Fall ones are still there, but we’ve also added a bunch of fabulous Halloween emojis to put us in the holiday mood & simply to enjoy until then. :happyhalloween:  If you haven’t already, check them out, then feel free to play, play, play. :cheers:

I AM HAPPY that we got another giant load of stuff to the new house.  And we’re talking some of the big stuff—appliances, furniture, the riding mower…  Yikes! :skeletondoor:

I can’t even tell you how incredibly thankful I am for the friends who helped us with that, either. :monsterbar:  Out of the blue, some friends of Madame Mommy Dearest said they had a truck & trailer, & would be happy to help us whenever we needed them. Just when we were beginning to wonder how the heck we were ever going to get the heavy items moved, too. :windy:

They not only offered, but totally followed through.  And they not only followed through, but even though I was ready & willing to do a lot of the work myself, taking advantage of only the truck/trailer as much as possible, they barely let me do anything.  They came in, asked what needed to go, & went to work hauling whatever I pointed to.  I almost didn’t know what to do with myself. :zombiehand:

And finally, I AM HAPPY that The Kittehs still seem to be handling this moving thing well.  So much is missing…so many of their sleeping & hiding spots are gone, but they just keep rolling with the punches.  Whenever something gets moved or disappears, they explore the new area & even have fun with the new “decor.”  Fingers crossed their laid-back attitude extends to being dumped into the new house.  Because it’s coming…& I’m nervous. :blackcat:

So how about you?  What have you been up to this week & what are you feeling happy about or thankful for? :wave:

Take a minute to share a few bits of gratitude with us so we can cheer you on! :cheers:

    I’m so glad that you’re getting so much help and that you’re almost all moved.

    I’m happy that Ken finally had his back surgery and it seems to have done what it was supposed to. He had 2 compression fractures in two of his vertebra and now he doesn’t have pain there anymore.

      Won’t it be great to finally BE moved? Splitting time between two houses & all the packing & carrying…blah. But I’m making progress & know that once I’m at the new house full-time, it will be (fingers crossed) awesome. :sunflower:

      I’m so glad your dh’s back is better. Can’t imagine having to go thru a surgery like that; it doesn’t sound fun at all. But if it worked, then it was well worth it! And being in pain all the time, then *not* being in pain has got to be just fantastic! :dancin:

      I’m so sorry about Scribbles, btw. I know how much you loved him & how wonderful you were to him. I’m still so glad he felt better & had those last few great days before he passed. {{HUGS}}
