Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday!  How is your week going?  Wonderfully, I hope!

This week, I AM HAPPY that I’ve managed to catch up on a few movies while pedaling away on the Torture Cycle.   So far, I’ve enjoyed Dream House (intense suspense with several twists I didn’t see coming) & I, Frankenstein (wouldn’t mind having this one on DVD & am kind of hoping for a sequel), & I hated This is the End (couldn’t even finish it).

And I’m really liking the new murder mystery series Secrets and Lies on ABC.  Anybody else watching this one?  I was extremely bored & disappointed in Fox’s Gracepoint last season, so I was hoping this one wasn’t going to be a similar rehash.  It totally isn’t!  It’s way better & really has me hooked. #smiley16

I AM HAPPY that I got all of my RITA books read & my scores turned in just before the deadline.  Some good stuff this year—I’ll share titles & authors when I can. #smiley14

I AM HAPPY that Bella—& all of The Kittehs, thank goodness—seems to be doing much better.  She’s eating her special food (as are the others), & I’ve done some research to find a few other things I can do to help with their urinary issues—other foods, a supplement, etc.  I still need to take her back to the vet for a second urine test, but things have been so crazy lately, I haven’t managed to make an appointment yet.  Soon, though, I swear…& you know I wouldn’t put it off for one second if I thought she was beginning to have symptoms again. #smiley12

And finally, I AM HAPPY that I got my taxes done & turned over to Tax Guy.  Yes, they were rough.  (I so hate all the sorting & organizing & the rows & rows of math… #smiley6 )

Yes, Tax Guy had questions for me I didn’t have off-the-top-of-my-head answers for.  But I got through it, & they’re his problem now, until he gets back to me & I get to deal with whatever else needs done before April 15th. #smiley4

So that’s my “happy as it gets” list for this week.  #smiley17

How about you—what’s got you smiling…feeling grateful…or simply in a happy mood this week?  Whatever you’ve got, let us know! #smiley9

I am enjoying Secrets and Lies as well and am glad I decided to give it a shot. Today is just a lazy Sunday and I am just kicking back.

I saw this and thought it would appeal to your Firefly loving heart.

The only new TV series I’ve been watching is Scorpion. It’s fun to watch, but it’s one of those “turn-off-your-brains-before-you-watch” kind of series. #smiley21 It’s either that, or you can see if you can spot another familiar face from Numb3rs (at least 2 has visited Scorpion) or what kind of impossibilities there are this week. “Based on the life of Walter O’Brien”. Yeah, right…

Great news all around it seems.

I’m happy that I decided to donate my big rat cage to a rescue in my area but the one that’s in my area didn’t need it so it’s going to a couple that have taken in 12 rats and can now rescue even more. I like them because they keep all the rats they rescue and give them loving forever homes.
