Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday, my Darlings!

How is your weekend going so far?  And how has your week in general been?  I hope you have lots to share for our weekly Happy Sunday report!

This Sunday, I AM HAPPY that AMC ran a wonderfully long The Walking Dead marathon over the 4th of July weekend.  Yes, yes, I know I’ve seen them all before, but not only do I miss The Walking Dead when it isn’t on, but I tend to catch stuff the second, third, or even eighth time through that I’ve never caught before.  (Maybe because I only sit & watch-watch—on the Torture Cycle—when an episode is new.  After that, I tend to simply have repeats on in the background to catch what I can of them.)

Anyway, when they run nice, long marathons, I tend to see things that I didn’t necessarily register before.  Like Hershel giving Glenn his pocket watch back on the farm, which comes up again at the very end of Season 4.  Or “Look at the flowers, Lizzie,” actually being used back at the prison when I thought it first came up in “The Grove.”

And I AM HAPPY that I finally got around to having a ceiling fan installed on the front porch.  Or maybe I should say a second ceiling fan installed on the front porch. :mat27   The one that was already up is great, but my porch is L-shaped, so it really only lights & cools one end, leaving the other hot & dark.  Since The Kittehs spend a lot of time sleeping on the hot/dark side, this is completely unacceptable.  So I grabbed another fan & asked Mr. Handyman to put it up, & it is awesome!  I only wish the ceiling in my bedroom were higher so I could have one in there.  Gads, what I wouldn’t do for a fan over my bed! :may6

How about you guys?  What are you happy about this week…or want to remember to be thankful for?  I know there’s gotta be something, & we want to hear about it, so let ‘er rip! :may7
