A FRIDAY FUNNY

FREE BOOK FRIDAY
If anyone around here is not a die-hard fan of Burn Notice…then I don’t want to know you. :humpf It is only hot, sexy, funny, sexy, brash, sexy… You know, all the things Mistress Heidi herself is.
So with the newest season just starting on USA Network, I thought it would be fitting to give away a Burn Notice tie-in novel…aptly titled The Giveaway…for this week’s Free Book Friday.
To enter the giveaway for this book, simply leave a comment to today’s post that includes the code FBF—for “Free Book Friday,” of course—to let me know you’re interested in the drawing. (U.S. residents only for the prize, please, but everyone is welcome to chat.)
Winner will be announced during our Happy Sunday post on…well, you know, Sunday. Winner is responsible for contacting me with her mailing information—i.e. I will not be contacting you—so be sure to check back in or you might not even know you won! :crying (If prize isn’t claimed within 14 days, another name may be drawn or item may be tossed back into the goody bag to be re-used for a future giveaway.)

FBF!!
Love the funnies!! My oldest son turned me on to Burn Notice when it started. Michael is so yummy!!!
I’ve always been a Jeffrey Donovan (& Bruce Campbell!) fan, so I was onto Burn Notice from the beginning. I *do not* like that Michael & Fiona are together now…it just sort of takes away from the suspense of their relationship for me; not to mention, it’s much harder now to fantasize about having him all to myself :crying …but otherwise, the show continues to be fabu.
That was the downfall of Moonlighting. Maddi and David….sad.
oh and Bruce Campbell in Army of Darkness…..LOVE that movie (yeah, I know it’s pretty cheesy but still)
Hey, I actually kinda like the movie Brainsmasher: A Love Story, so your cheesiness has got nothin’ on me. :whistledev
That’s what I’m saying. Any time the lead falls in love, it spells doom…unless the SO dies. Be careful, Fiona. Be very careful.
FBF!!
A Burn Notice tie-in novel sounds like a perfect summer read!!
Or even just to stare at. I’ve had the book at the top of a pile for months now, just so I could drool over that nice close-up of Michael. :eyelashes

Have never watched Burn Notice before…I am sooo out of the loop! :argh
Oh, no! Oh, Hollie, you must! Do you get USA Network? If not, buy/rent the DVDs. It is so fabulous. Hot & sexy, funny & full of action. In a word, it is YUM. :eats
If you want to give Burn Notice a try, check out your local library. All the libraries in my area have started stocking cable programs on DVD.
For those who have seen seasons 1-4, you can watch season 5 episodes on the website usually the day after it airs on tv. (I don’t have cable, so I do this a lot). Episode 501:

Netflix also has a great collection of tv shows, old and current. I recommend Wonderfalls (quirky fun) and Life on Mars (both US and British versions)
