Happy Sunday! I hope you had a lovely Mother’s Day last week, & have much to be grateful for this week!
I AM HAPPY that I was able to help with the Animal Welfare Council yard sale last week. I didn’t do a whole lot, but I certainly donated oodles of stuff for them to sell, was able to help with setting things up for a couple of hours, & then made a nice, rounded-up donation for the items I grabbed for myself while helping to set up. :kittyplay (I can be very generous when people let me in the doors early so I can poke around before the crowds arrive. :eyelashes )
I AM HAPPY the cover flats for MUST LOVE VAMPIRES arrived so I can see how gorgeous this book is going to be when it finally hits the shelves! :chick It is really, really gorgeous, let me tell you.
And if you missed my offer on Twitter & Facebook to autograph a cover for you before MLV comes out, let me know. I’ve still got plenty & will be happy to send you one.

I AM HAPPY that Madame Mommy Dearest has been able to take another cruise, which I know she enjoys. This time, she’s touring Boston, the New England states, & parts of Canada. I am hoping, as a souvenir, that she will bring back my weight in maple 
syrup. That’s a lot of syrup, but OMG, I lurvs it! I would drink it as a beverage, if I thought I could get away with it. (How about you… do you like syrup nearly as much as I do? :spaghetti )
And last but not least, I AM HAPPY that everything involved in that Top Secret happy-happy is still moving forward & going fairly smoothly. (Knock on wood.) Shhh. :hide I still can’t talk about it, but I will ask you to keep sending those positive thoughts my way. If it all works out, I will definitely be filling you in, believe me. :bees

If you’ve been to my fb page..then you may have seen my mothers day! I received a giant flower balloon…and the pictures show my almost teenage girly showing her teenage side….stinkeye in abundance! and Im still laughing over it…as are all the people who look at my fb page! revenge baby! :lildev
Im also happy that my “new” to me cousin is turning out to be a real good friend…. funny how life works out…

Oh I’m sorry I have not been on in a while!!! Finals week was hectic and now I’m starting another semester for the summer and it’s all work and no play! :humpf

I’m happy that I was able to work out my work schedule and school schedule and caught up with all my writing assignments! And I’m happy that Netflix exists!

Sleeping on the sofa goes above and beyond! Most of the time, my three stay at the foot of the bed or behind my knees, but often when I use the bathroom and come back cat #1 is in the middle of the bed. Since I don’t turn on the light, he’s gotten squished a few times, so you’d think he’d learn. I have slept across the head of the bed several times to not disturb them. Luckily, it’s a queen, I’m short and I usually pull up my legs somewhat.
I used to hate the smell of maple syrup. My dad would make pancakes often and there was a good 15-20 years were I couldn’t tolerate syrup. I now eat pancakes and waffles once or twice a month. I can’t really tell the difference between the cheap imitation stuff and the real. Try Costco for a good price on the real stuff if your mom doesn’t come through for you.
LOL I’ve learned to pat the bed if I’m trying to get up or lie down in the dark. Pat-pat-pat…fur…pat-pat-pat…no fur, I can lie down. :ROFL
And I can definitely tell the difference with syrup; gotta have my 100% maple syrup, esp. since the other is just sugar water. Blech.
:kittylaugh I’m happy I finally thought of a contest to post on my blog. I drew a blank, and then suddenly the idea came to me.
I’m also thrilled about a beautiful dog we adopted. He’s a Shepherd Collie mix. His name is Chaz. My husband gets up extra early every day to play with him.
