And I agree with you on the hunting issue. If people are really needing to do that to feed their families, that is one thing; otherwise I have issues with the whole “sport.”

I agree with you about the hunting. My problem is hunting for sport, it’s another thing totally if you are living off the land and have to provide your own food. Frankly, I’d rather be a vegetarian.

Since I eat meat, I can’t be hypocritical and say hunting is bad (well, yes I can, but I’m trying to be reasonable). But, it should be done humanely and for food, not trophies. I’ve been hearing about bow hunting. They try to justify it by saying it kills just as fast as a bullet, but a bow (or gun) in the hands of a weekend warrior isn’t a good thing.
It’s in the teens today, I could use this book to warm me up!
On the book, let’s just say this is a…manual of sorts. Like Sexy for Dummies. :beerlaugh I will leave it to the winner to decide whether to give it to her S.O. as a hint or not. *snicker*
On the issue of hunting—agreed 100%. I actually don’t have a problem with hunting for *food*, if every possible part of the animal is used. And if the animal is killed fast & humanely. But too many hunters are out there looking for a trophy & don’t give a sh*t about anything else. They also don’t care if they only wound the animal & then have to track it, which is horrifying, imo. My dad was a hunter—until I came along :talktothehand —& never took a shot unless he believed it was a kill shot, & we also ate every bit of the meat (even the heart & liver, & even tho I still was not a fan). But the random shots & trophy thing bugs the bejeezus out of me.
As usual, the cat one is the bests. FBF.
